A: The stake per BetSlip is 100 Units and cannot be changed.
Q: How many tips can I select per match?
A: Only one tip. For instance: 1 (home), x (draw), 2 (away) or any other given tip. See more tips here
Q: I can’t understand all tip types given in the BetSlip. What should I do?
A: Read the explanation of Tips Abbreviations here.
Q: I’m not familiar with the decimal odds format given in the bestslips. Are they hard to understand?
A: No. In contrary the decimal odds are much easier to understand and use. The figure quoted, for instance 1.80 is the payout per unit staked. The payout includes your winnings (earnings) and the stake. So your winnings are 0.80. The equivalent for the decimal odds of 1.80 in fractional (traditional) odds is 4/5. For further explanation please read the Appendix: Decimal odds explained
Q: What does the System Accumulate mean?
A: The system Accumulate (Accumulator) is given by default on the BetSlip. It means that you play all matches together (in a bundle) whereas the total odds of a betslip are calculated when tipped odds of every match are multiplied among each other (1.25 x 2.10 x 1.80 = 4.73). To win a BetSlip using this system you must have a correct tip for every match you have tipped on. For further explanation read here.
Q: What does the System Singles mean?
A: The System Singles means that you play every match you tipped as a single one, whereas the total stake of 100units is divided among the tipped matches. To win a Betslip with this system it is not necessary to tip correctly every mach you play as long as the sum of the partial earnings exceeds 0 (zero). In comparison to the System Accumulate the probability of wining a bet slip with the system singles is higher but the earnings are much smaller. For further explanation read here
Q: How are the Earnings of a Betslip calculated? What is the difference between Earnings and Payout of a BetSlip?
A: Payout of a Bet slip consists of Earnings (Winning) plus the Stake. Therefore the Earnings = Payout – Stake. The payout of a Betslip with the system accumulate is calculated when the total odds are multiplied with the stake.
Payout = total odds (4.73) x stake (100) = 473Units.
The calculation of the payout of a Betslip with the system singles is a bit complicated. To put it simply, you can estimate it when you multiply the average winning odds with the total stake of 100 Units.
When a Betslip is lost the Earnings are negative. For further explanation read here.
Ranking Questions:
Q: Are there any criteria to rank and be eligible for prizes?
A: You have to play at least 50% of all available betslips in order to rank for prizes.
For detailed information about the ranking criteria for monthly and yearly prizes read here.
Q: Which ranking category is most important? Who will be the best tipster?
A: The Best Tipsters in a certain category are the ones with the highest parameters. There are three ranking categories: Earnings, Profitability and Efficiency. The most important category is that ranks the tipsters by Earnings. There are also winners in the other two ranking categories. The prizes for winners are announced at the Prizes Page.
Q: How are the Earnings of a Tipster calculated?
A: The partial Earnings of all played Betslips (positive or negative) during the month (or the year) are added to the tipster’s balance.
Q: How is the Profitability of a Tipster calculated?
A: Profitability is a percentage calculated when the total earnings are divided by the total stakes played during the month (or year) and then multiplied by 100%. Another term used for this categoty is ROI (Return on investment).
Q: How is Efficiency of a Tipster calculated?
A: The efficiency of a tipster shows the percentage of won Betslips of all played.
The efficiency is calculated when the number of won tickets is divided by the number of played tickets (won + lost). Draw tickets are excluded when this category is calculated.
Q: What is a Draw Betslip and does it affect rankings?
A: Betslip is a Draw when the earnings are equal to 0 (zero). This is rare but can happen on several occasions. A Draw Betslip is considered as a played one when the ranking criteria of 50% played betslips is calculated. On the other hand, a Draw Betslip is excluded when the Efficiency is calculated.
